NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) is a medium to long-range air defense missile system designed and manufactured by the Norwegian company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace teamed up with Raytheon for the missile. Since the introduction in Norway, another four countries in NATO and the EU have acquired NASAMS.

A NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) battery includes a Fire Distribution Center (FDC). A shelter with computer and control systems is mounted at the rear of a G-Class Mercedes 4x4 light tactical vehicle.

Each NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) battery also includes truck-mounted 3D radar MPQ-64F1. The radar is mounted at the rear of a G-Class Mercedes 4x4 light tactical vehicle.

Each NASAMS (Norwegian Advanced Surface to Air Missile System) battery consists of 3 or 4 truck-mounted MSP500 electro-optical sensor for visual target identification and raid size assessment. The electro optical sensor is mounted at the rear of a G-Class Mercedes 4x4 light tactical vehicle.
