Microflown AVISA, a Dutch company specialized in 3D acoustic situational awareness showcases its Vehicle Based Gunshot Localisation system at IAV 2018. This system named Vehicle based Acoustic Multi-Mission Sensor (V-AMMS) can be adapted on several platforms such as: wheeled open vehicles (special operations vehicles), wheeled and tracked armoured vehicles.

The new MkIV offers substantial capability upgrades, including increased drive train capabilities and active damping technology to improve battlefield speeds and handling. The new vehicle also features the latest NATO-standard Electronic Architecture to meet customer demands for sensor integration and the implementation of autonomous systems. BAE Systems intends to offer the CV90 MkIV to the Czech Republic in the ongoing armoured vehicle competition to replace the Czech Army´s legacy fleet of BMP-II IFVs.

At International Armoured Vehicles 2018, the Belgian company, NLMK Clabecq showcases its Quardian high protection steel. The Quardian, high quality steel has many applications in the defense & security sector and is used by many armoured vehicles manufacturers around the world.

Esterline, global leader in defense and aerospace technologies, demonstrates its Racal Acoustics RA4000 Magna headset for high-noise environments at IAV 2018, International Armoured Vehicles, conference in London. Esterline's Racal Acoustics brand offers a range of high-reliability personal hearing and communications equipment for the military, paramilitary, aviation and first-responder markets.

At International Armoured Vehicles 2018, held in London, January 22-25, Thales unveiled its Bushmaster MR6 Multi-role armoured vehicle. The Busmaster MR6 has increased performances and capabilities in comparison to the first Bushmaster.
