During a meeting in Paris that was held on December 29, 2022, the Lithuanian Minister of National Defence Arvydas Anušauskas and Minister of the Armed Forces of France Sebastien Lecornu concluded the bilateral agreement for joining the CAESAR NG (New Generation) development program also including the acquisition of 18 CAESAR Mark II NG 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzers for the Lithuanian armed forces.

On December 28, 2022, the United States Department of Defense announced that the U.S. State Department has made a determination to approve a possible Foreign Military Sale to the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States of Volcano (vehicle-launched) anti-tank munitions-laying systems and related equipment for an estimated cost of $180 million.

A picture was released on the "Ukraine Weapons Tracker" Twitter account on December 28, 2022, showing new Panthera T6 4x4 armored vehicles on a train car that was reportedly for delivery to Ukraine. The vehicle is designed and developed by Minerva Special Purpose Vehicles (MSPV) based in the United Arab Emirates, which has manufacturing plants in different countries around the world.

The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that three military personnel were killed on December 26, 2022, after an aerial attack with a drone launched by Ukraine. The drone was shot down but several pieces of debris fell on the Russian Engels air force base located in the southwestern Saratov region which hosts Tu-160s, the most powerful bomber aircraft of the Russian Air Force. 

On December 21, 2022, the United States Department of Defense published a new list of military equipment, weapons, and combat vehicles that will be delivered to the Ukrainian armed forces including 37 Cougar MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicles and 120 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs) 4x4 tactical vehicles.

On December 21, 2022, the United States confirmed the delivery of one Patriot air defense missile system to Ukraine in the framework of a new military and security assistance valued at up to $1 billion. The Patriot PAC-3 is one of the most modern air defense systems in the world and is able to intercept and destroy aerial threats such as aircraft, ballistic and cruise missiles, and drones.
