More than 800 exhibitors from the defense industry to attend World Defense Show 2022


According to the latest news released by the World Defense Show organizers, World Defense Show 2022 will be attended by more than 800 national and international defense and security companies including Al Tadrea Manufacturing Company, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Raytheon, Wahaj, and more. World Defense Show is the inaugural defense exhibition in Saudi Arabia that will take place in Riyadh from 6 to 9 March 2022.

World Defense Show 2022 will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 6 to 9 March 2022.


Founded by GAMI (General Authority for Military Industries), World Defense Show is focused on military interoperability across air, land, sea, security and satellite defense systems. Now, World Defense Show 2022 organizers have published the exhibitor's list on its official website.

Over four days, World Defense Show will offer an exhibition showcasing comprehensive and interactive displays of integrated defense technology solutions, alongside conferences and education seminars focused on the next generation of defense.

World Defense Show 2022 will be divided into four main areas with a classic indoor area showcasing a full spectrum defense domains and product segments with global industry representatives will be featured across dedicated country pavilions.

A Specialized hubs, showcasing state-of-the-art technologies and modern manufacturing capabilities that feature bio-defense, unmanned systems, homeland security and advanced C4ISR solutions.

The DEFENSE START-UPS, which is a dedicated "start-up zone" that will spotlight innovative defense-tech players shaping the future of defense and welcome venture capitalists, financial houses and investment funds ready to invest in future technologies, products and solutions.

World Defense Show 2022 will also include static displays of defense and security equipment and live demonstrations of interoperability, naval systems, security systems, swarm technology, advanced manufacturing technology and airshows.

In line with Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s trailblazing plan to diversify its economy and move away from hydrocarbons, the country has committed to localizing 50% of military expenditure – with experts predicting a subsequent boom in the domestic defense sector over the next decade.

To help unlock the growth potential of the defense sector, the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) founded World Defense Show, the first-ever fully integrated defense event showcasing innovations in interoperability across all five domains – land, sea, air, security and space.
