The Israeli company YTS is unveiling its latest anti-drone vehicle at IDEX 2023, the defense exhibition taking place from 20 to 24 February 2023​ at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi.

Drones are becoming a serious threat in recent years. The use of drones by terrorists and terror organizations is increasing sharply, posing a major challenge to home land security agencies and forces.

YTS developed its CDV as a full solution that houses the latest technologies in one vehicle allowing quick deployment of counter drone activity. The vehicle offers a multi-layered, counter drone solution for Detection, Localization, and Mitigation of hostile drones, providing a safe environment and thus creating a virtual protection dome over the protected area.

The CDV includes RF sensors and direction finder combined with frequency jammers.

The full system includes 360 degrees' radar in order to increase the detection range and to manage up to 100 targets simultaneously. Day and night cameras installed on a high mast allow detection, recognition, and real time tracking of the drones and also helps to distinguish between real threats to false ones.
