Elbit Systems will be featuring a wide spectrum of innovative next-generation systems at the upcoming 49th Paris Airshow, set to take place in Le Bourget from June 20-26, 2011. Visitors to the Company’s booth (Israeli Pavilion) will have an excellent opportunity to view displays, live demos and multimedia presentations of the Company’s core technologies and cutting-edge solutions.

Main Multimedia Presentation: Multi-layered Wide Area Aerial Persistent Surveillance concept (WAAPS)
Elbit Systems’ engaging multimedia presentation demonstrates a cross-section of the Company’s products and capabilities which seamlessly integrate to deliver persistent area surveillance and control for a complex operational scenario. The mission is to seize and control a defined area utilizing Elbit Systems’ innovative networked response based on the WAAPS (Wide Area Aerial Persistent Surveillance) concept comprised of the SAND (Smart All-Terrain Networked Detectors), PAWS (Passive Approach Warning System), MUSIC® (Multi-Spectral Infrared Countermeasure) and the Hermes 900® Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).

The following will be highlighted in the Company booth:

Electro-Optic Systems:
Elbit Systems Electro-Optics Elop Ltd. (Elop), a globally recognized multidisciplinary electro-optics systems house, incorporates the full range of related technologies and facilities in the areas of Observation and Surveillance Payloads, Space and Airborne IMINT, Lasers, Thermal Imaging, Electro-Optic Countermeasures, Head-Up Displays, Integrated Sights for Ground Forces and Homeland Security.
Debuted at the show: C-MUSIC™ will be presented in a 1:1 scale model This unique multi-spectral Infrared Fiber-laser based DIRCM System will be showcased in an impressive 2.7m long pod hung from the booth's ceiling, demonstrating its outstanding aerodynamic structure. The pod will be outfitted with see-through windows to enable visitors to examine the advanced Fiber Laser based DIRCM mirror turret, as well as the PAWS (IR Passive Approach Warning System) sensors.

The Rattler™ G is a dismounted hand-held, man-portable target designator/ marker which rapidly enables warfighters to bring effective fire to bear on hostile targets. Its miniature Size, Weight and Power (SWaP), facilitated by cutting edge diode-pumped technology, makes it body wearable and accessible for immediate use during TIC situations and CAS missions.

Targo™ Helmet Mounted Avionics (HMA) enables pilots to plan, rehearse, fly and debrief using their personal helmets.
     
Avionic Products and Systems:

Elbit Systems, with its comprehensive airborne systems capabilities, can provide a single sensor or an entire cockpit avionic suite. The following will be displayed in the Company’s booth:

G-120 TP Training Aircraft Cockpit is collaboration between Elbit Systems and GROB Aircraft AG to develop a new tandem cockpit version of the side-by-side seating G120 Turbo Prop Trainer.

Elbit Systems CockpitNGTM is based on a smart central large area display (LAD) which includes all avionic components in one suite, fully integrated with the Helmet Mounted and Head-Up Displays. All of the systems' components were developed in a "Multi-touch-Screen" technology, allowing pilots to operate the aircraft in the most smooth and customizable manner.

Targo™ Helmet Mounted Avionics (HMA) enables pilots to plan, rehearse, fly and debrief using their personal helmets. It is available in stand-alone or fully integrated configurations. Targo™ is an excellent solution for fighter aircraft, air lifters, trainers, emergency services aircraft and helicopters.
