IDEX 2017: ISOTREX Manufacturing showcases for the first time its brand new LEGION MRAP

At IDEX 2017 in Abu Dhabi, the Canadian Company Isotrex Manufacturing based in Ajman, UAE, is showcasing for the first time its brand new Mine Resistant Armored Patrol (MRAP) Armored Personal Carrier (APC) named the LEGION. This heavy duty armored vehicle is designed for rough terrain, extreme climatic and environment conditions while providing maximum protection, comfort and safety for its crew.

|
At IDEX 2017, Isotrex manufacturing showcases the LEGION MRAP outfitted with a unique turret: the IMX-23. This turret was designed by Isotrex with a protection level of STANAG 2. The IMX-23 has already proven its abilities with over 500 units in service on various vehicles around the world.
The LEGION APC features Cummins ISLe 375, Euro 3 electronically controlled engine, ALLISON 6-speed automatic transmission, as well as 4x4 All Wheel Drive, Independent Suspension and Central Tire Inflation System. The vehicle is developed on a Heavy Duty Fully Certified Military Chassis with a backbone tube frame which protects driveline shafts from transfer case to the wheels and differentials that are placed inside against dust moisture and outer mechanical damages. |

The chassis has a record proven of more than 80 years that allows each wheel to move independently with improved steering and maximum tire to ground contact.
The LEGION MRAP features a V shaped design and provides protection as per STANAG 4569. This APC can be modified into different variants in order to pursue various mission roles which include Ambulance, Heavy Cargo, Reconnaissance and Special Operations Variants. Isotrex Manufacturing was founded in 2005 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) by a dedicated armored vehicle manufacturing group of experts from Canada with over a decade of experience in the industry.
