Bayraktar MINI UAS is an intelligent, field-proven robotic system designed for short-range reconnaissance applications. The system has been operational for a decade after having been deployed within the Turkish Armed Forces. More than 200 Bayraktar systems are actually in service with the Turkish gendarmerie, Special Forces, police and Qatar armed forces.

Designed to be deployed in harsh environments, the hand-launched Bayraktar features automatic waypoint navigation, secure digital communication, and smart battery management system. The UAS is able to return home and automatically land in case of lost communication. It can land with belly landing or through parachute deployment.

Bayraktar’s electric motor gives the UAV between 60-80 min of endurance and a cruise speed of 30 kn within a operational altitude of 3,000 ft and an communication range of 15 km.

The Bayraktar is 1.2m-long and has a wingspan of 2 m.
