The "Extreme Mobility" Bastion APC has a number of new advantages: a running gear system with independent suspension is driven by a 320 hp engine generating a torque of 1200 Nm at 1200 rpm.

The Bastion, which is based on the VLRA 2, is already in operation. The semi-open-topped Patsas version of the vehicle, which was developed with a Special Forces unit, has been marketed successfully.

With over 30 horsepower/tonne provided by a 6-cylinder engine, available in Euro 3 and 5 versions, and with its independent suspension running gear, the dynamic capabilities of the "Extreme Mobility" Bastion allow it to handle the toughest terrain.
