From 29 November to 1 December 2021, Expodefensa will gather international exhibitors from security and defense domains (land, air, maritime). Official delegations, defense and security forces, manufacturers looking for business opportunities and trade visitors from entire Latin America and the Caribbean region will attend the event. The event highlights the widest range of defense and security products presented in Latin America. Expodefensa is an unmissable opportunity to develop a network and business. It responds to the expectations of governments, critical businesses and industries and all private and public authorities of the Latin America region and the Caribbean.

Since its inception in 2009, Expodefensa is positioning as the leading Defense and Security major event for Latin America and the Caribbean. The exhibition of the Colombian Ministry of Defense, Expodefensa is organized by the two entities Corferias and COGES Events, with the participation of armed, security and emergency forces. Both organizers are the references in event organization, Corferias as the Bogota International Business and Exhibition Center and COGES Events as the organizer of defense & security events like Eurosatory, the leading international land and air-land Defense and Security exhibition.

Today Expodefensa is the international reference event for all those in Latin America and the Caribbean who are in charge of defense and security, and who are looking for technology solutions and international equipment.

In 2019, Expodefensa hosted 251 exhibitors from 26 countries, about 13,000 professional visitors including 75 Official Delegations from 24 countries and 131 journalists. The numbers continue to grow every session.

With exhibitors from all over the world, Expodefensa presents the widest range of Defense and Security products adapted to the regional requirements: to maintain or restore peace, to prevent and combat natural and industrial disasters and to protect centers for exploitation of energy resources and mine sites located in the region. In 2019, Expodefensa hosted exhibitors from Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, Chile, Colombia, Czech Republic, Denmark, European Union, France, Germany, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Panama, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States…

In 2021, exhibitors and subcontractors will present high-tech products and proven cost-effective solutions. In addition, service companies (maintenance, assistance, etc.), laboratories and research institutes, international organizations and public institutions will participate in the event. International companies exhibit the latest products of the Defense & Security industry alongside the Colombian armed forces and military industry, which are currently undergoing significant development.

Expodefensa welcomes Official Delegations, Defense and Security forces from the entire Latin American and the Caribbean region.

The presence of exhibitors from five continents allows discovering new suppliers and the latest innovations of the sector. Expodefensa also allows developing contacts and exchange ideas with experts of the domain, to share knowledge, experiences and lessons learned. This event is a venue for dialogue and interaction between armed & security forces and their suppliers.

In addition to the exhibition, to address new defense and security issues, Expodefensa brings together decision-makers, operational staff and manufacturers at international conferences on targeted subjects.

ExpoDefensa 2019 saw a total of 137 members of the international press and media who attended and covered the show. To encourage more press to attend ExpoDefensa 2021 and to increase the show’s publicity, Press Registration facilities have been made available online via the ExpoDefensa 2021 website.

During the week of EXPODEFENSA 2021, Army Recognition Group will also provide the Official Web TV available each day on our Defense Web TV News channel with news, reports, interviews and full coverage of the event.

This new media will provide Internet television networks and Web TV to promote the Defense and Security Industry, and products with high-definition, digital-quality video broadcasted via our Defense Web TV News channel and official website and video screen of EXPODEFENSA 2021.
