REEQ is a company located in the Netherlands which is specialized in the design and prototyping of vehicles for the mobility branch. Due to a smart design process, REEQ develops an innovative and daring prototype in a relatively short time. Design, 3D modeling and the production of the prototype is a company-owned process. REEQ B.V. works with the defense industry, the world of motorsports, and the commercial sector.

The Netherlands-based REEQ has debuted an innovative Utility Terrain Vehicle (UTV) platform that revolutionizes the way we view off-road transportation for military forces on the modern battlefield. This rugged hybrid UTV platform is engineered to carry equipment in various configurations including Side by Side, Quad bike, and Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). This futuristic heavy-duty platform is equipped with unique features that provide a user-friendly, comfortable, and safe driving experience.

At the heart of the REEQ design philosophy is the idea of interchangeability. The Side by Side and Quad bike setups are built on the same platform, sharing the same driveline, suspension, steering, and electronics. This design choice not only simplifies maintenance but also minimizes training requirements, as the vehicles’ main components are almost identical. The Side by Side configuration is a slightly larger iteration of the Quad bike setup, offering a broader and longer alternative for users.

The REEQ UTV platform features an electric driveline on both the front and the rear, providing enhanced 4x4 capabilities with improved torque distribution. This unique twin driveline setup can be individually customized for the front and rear, allowing optimal traction distribution for diverse terrains. Whether in sand, mud, or rock, the platform ensures maximum traction and control.

Additionally, the platform boasts transport tydown and underslung provisions on both the front and rear, along with options for a winch in the front and the back, enhancing its flexibility. It's also designed for both internal and external CH47 helicopter transport, thus allowing for easy transport and deployment.

REEQ's innovative platform is fully hybrid, offering an eco-friendly solution without compromising on performance. The UTVs can function silently, emitting no fumes or emissions during a standstill. It also features an onboard charger and a range extender running on diesel or H2, providing an impressive range of up to 1,000 kilometers. In an era where sustainability is crucial, REEQ’s design offers a practical and conscious choice for off-road mobility.

The REEQ platform is characterized by its high payload capacity, with large loading platforms on the front and rear. The Quad version can handle a payload of 500 kg and boasts load platform dimensions of 695x1340mm (front) and 1005x1340mm (rear). Its heavy-duty tydown provisions can securely accommodate a range of gear and luggage.

Moreover, the platform supports the removal and alteration of body structures to cater to specific carrying requirements. It also provides the flexibility to add solar roofs or roll cages based on situational demands, making it a truly versatile platform.
The REEQ UTV platform's utility extends to include optional remote control, making it a viable UGV when necessary. This allows the platform to perform tasks in potentially hazardous or inaccessible areas, minimizing the risk to human operators.

The REEQ platform, with its hybrid energy system, superb off-road capabilities, and remarkable flexibility, represents the future of off-road mobility. It's not just a vehicle but a mobile generator with a 5-10kW AC power output, capable of powering small base camps, electric equipment, and full radio communication posts. This feature, along with its capacity to connect with other platforms to form a microgrid, makes it an invaluable asset for long-duration, off-grid expeditions.

With its advanced design and capabilities, the REEQ UTV platform is set to redefine off-road transportation for military forces, bringing a new level of performance, efficiency, and environmental responsibility to the table. Its debut marks a significant milestone in the evolution of off-road mobility in the defense area, offering a glimpse into the future of combat operations and missions in all-terrain conditions.
