The ZUZANA is a 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer designed and developed by the Slovak company ZTS Defence. The first prototype of the ZUZANA was completed in December 1992 and it was accepted into service with the Slovak Army in 1997 under the designation of ZUZANA 2000.

The ZUZANA is a 155mm wheeled self-propelled howitzer designed and developed by the Slovak company ZTS Defence. The first prototype of the ZUZANA was completed in December 1992 and it was accepted into service with the Slovak Army in 1997 under the designation of ZUZANA 2000. The first Slovak order was for eight Zuzana artillery vehicles and in May 1998, a new order of 40 Zuzana was placed.
- Zuzana 2000G: The Greek Army has taken delivery of 12 systems under the local designation of the Zuzana 2000G.

Design: | The Zuzana is based on 8x8 military truck chassis Tatra 815 VP 31 265 8 × 8.1R, the driver is located at the front of the truck with a seat in a fully enclosed cab. The turret is the middle of the truck chassis divided into two parts. The left cabin houses the gunner and loader operator while the ammunition handler is in the right cabin. The engine is at the rear. |
