Metinvest holding offers metal to make buggies for Ukrainian army
Metallurgical holding "Metinvest" transfers rolled metal for the production of buggies for the Ukrainian military, mil.in.ua website reported on March 23. Rolled metal is provided as part of the "Steel Front" initiative. As part of this initiative, metallurgists have already handed over rolled metal for the production of 10 such machines.

The new buggies should soon enter the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "Light, maneuverable and passable buggies are ideal machines for effective reconnaissance", metallurgical holding "Metinvest" says. It is worth noting that the "Steel Front" initiative combined all military assistance of SCM businesses for the army, medics and critical infrastructure workers.
The buggies given to the army are intended for reconnaissance, ammunition delivery, fire support or evacuation of the wounded. That is why such buggies are a good alternative to conventional wheeled transport on the front lines. But there are no buggies in service with Ukrainian troops: activists, volunteers and representatives of individual military associations are engaged in their production and supply. "Providing small combat groups with mobile equipment is an important component for the successful performance of our military in combat missions. We are glad that within the framework of Rinat Akhmetov's "Steel Front" our products will help bring victory closer," said the general director of the holding.
Industrial production was also put on military rails: metallurgists of the "Metinvest" group mastered and improved the technology of manufacturing armor steel and plates from it and started supplying body armor for the military. The company's specialists also designed modular steel shelters capable of withstanding shelling.
