MSPO 2025 Teaser: Global defence technology and key hub for EU and NATO future in Poland.

From 2 to 5 September 2025, the Polish city of Kielce will once again become a focal point for the global defence community with the 33rd edition of the International Defence Industry Exhibition, widely known as MSPO. Over the past three decades, MSPO has established itself as one of the three most important defence trade shows in Europe and a strategic hub for military cooperation worldwide. The 2025 edition arrives at a time when rising instability, expanding security threats, and record-high defence budgets redefine the global military landscape. Against this backdrop, MSPO 2025 stands out not only as a commercial showcase but as a platform where future defence strategies are shaped.

With still weeks to go before its opening, MSPO 2025 already promises to be record-breaking. More than 400 companies from 34 countries have confirmed their participation, securing nearly 30,000 square metres of exhibition space across eight halls and extensive outdoor grounds. Exhibitors will come from every continent, with particularly strong delegations from Europe, North America, and Asia, including nations as far away as Australia, South Korea, India, Canada, and the United Arab Emirates. The event benefits from the honorary patronage of the President of the Republic of Poland, as well as the strategic partnership of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ). Supported by key national institutions such as the Ministry of National Defence and the Armaments Agency, MSPO continues to expand its scope as both a Polish and international defence hub. For global companies, it represents an essential opportunity to showcase innovations, build partnerships, and secure contracts in one of the fastest-growing defence markets in Europe.

Poland’s current security environment provides the critical context for MSPO 2025. Facing persistent threats on NATO’s eastern flank, Poland is investing more than 4% of its GDP in defence modernization, one of the highest levels in the alliance. This commitment has made the country a priority partner for international defence firms. As Dr. Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce, recently noted: “We witness the decade of intensive rearmament; MSPO fits perfectly into this trend.” The exhibition has become not only a venue for contracts and displays but also a strategic space where industry leaders and governments align their approaches to the evolving challenges of modern warfare.

A major highlight of MSPO 2025 will be the 26th Armed Forces Exhibition, organized under the motto “Modern Armed Forces create a strong and secure future.” Coordinated by the Inspectorate of Support for the Armed Forces, the exhibition will involve more than 1,000 Polish soldiers presenting equipment, technologies, and operational capabilities that reflect NATO standards and alliance-level ambitions. This large-scale demonstration underlines Poland’s determination to showcase its growing military strength, while also presenting the progress achieved through cooperation with allied partners. Visitors will be able to explore integrated systems ranging from ground vehicles and artillery to advanced command and control solutions.

MSPO 2025 is set to deliver a number of world and European premieres. PGZ alone will present more than 400 exhibits, reflecting its central role in Poland’s defence modernization efforts. Other exhibitors will unveil pioneering systems, including the SC166 modular packaging for safe transport of 120 mm tank ammunition, the RAF1 mobile photovoltaic power plant designed for field operations, and the FIELDctrl Follow 3D MIMO radar system, which employs artificial intelligence for advanced counter-drone operations. In addition, Edbak, making its MSPO debut, will showcase robotic machine parks dedicated to the defence sector. General Nano Protection will introduce innovative solutions designed to protect weapons and electronic systems in extreme conditions. These new technologies demonstrate how the exhibition continues to set the stage for defence innovation, combining traditional military hardware with advanced applications of artificial intelligence, energy solutions, and environmental resilience.

Beyond technology, MSPO remains a crucial meeting place for global defence decision-makers. High-level delegations, including military attachés accredited in Poland, senior officials from NATO member states, and industry executives, are expected to attend. Over the years, the exhibition has been the stage for numerous arms contracts and strategic agreements, often valued in the hundreds of millions of Polish zlotys. The 2025 edition is anticipated to continue this trend, further strengthening ties between Poland and its partners while reinforcing the country’s position as a defence leader in Europe. This year’s focus will also extend to emerging trends in the arms sector, including environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles and the growing role of artificial intelligence in logistics, detection, and battlefield command. These discussions reflect the evolving priorities of the global defence industry, where innovation is no longer confined to weapons systems but extends to sustainability and data-driven operations.

As in previous years, MSPO 2025 will include prestigious awards honouring outstanding achievements in the defence industry. These include the President of the Republic of Poland Award, the Special Distinction of the Minister of National Defence, and the celebrated Defender Awards. For participating companies, such recognition reinforces credibility on the global stage, while for visitors, it highlights the technologies and systems most likely to shape the future of defence.

MSPO 2025 arrives at a pivotal moment for international security. With record-breaking participation, major innovations, and a strong diplomatic presence, the exhibition is poised to be more than just a trade fair. It is a crossroads for decisions, partnerships, and strategies that will shape the next chapter of global defence. In a world where security challenges are multiplying, Kielce once again becomes a city where the future of military cooperation is written.
