General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) took center stage with the official unveiling of its new tracked 155mm self-propelled howitzer, NEMESIS. This advanced artillery system is designed to meet the operational demands of 21st-century warfare, featuring an automated loading mechanism, state-of-the-art fire control, and impressive mobility. The NEMESIS offers enhanced precision and rapid deployment capabilities, setting a new standard for European artillery platforms.

Spanish defense manufacturer Escribano Mechanical & Engineering (EM&E) made headlines by presenting the FEROX, a new 6x6 armored vehicle built to perform across a range of combat scenarios. With a strong emphasis on modularity and survivability, the FEROX reflects Spain’s focus on developing homegrown solutions for national defense while also aiming for export success in the international market. Also on display from EM&E was their new Guardian 30 remotely operated weapon station (ROWS). Designed to be mounted on various vehicles, the Guardian 30 supports a 30mm automatic cannon, advanced targeting sensors, and integration into networked combat environments, offering high lethality with minimal exposure to operators.

One of the most strategically relevant innovations came in the form of a Vamtac 4x4 light tactical vehicle equipped with a counter-drone solution. As drones become an increasing threat in asymmetric warfare, this integration allows rapid response forces to detect, track, and neutralize enemy UAVs with precision, reinforcing battlefield protection for frontline troops.

EM&E also demonstrated its robotic expertise with the aunav.BEST, a medium-sized multi-role Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV). Engineered for tasks ranging from reconnaissance and EOD to logistic support, the aunav.BEST combines rugged design with semi-autonomous functionality, making it a versatile asset for missions in high-risk or inaccessible zones.

Adding to the array of new military platforms, DUMA Engineering Group introduced the ASV-350, their latest generation 4x4 armored vehicle. With a design that emphasizes protection, mobility, and adaptability, the ASV-350 offers an effective solution for both military and internal security missions. Its modern architecture supports a variety of combat and support roles, underscoring its potential as a multipurpose armored system.

Throughout the exhibition hall, FEINDEF 2025 hosted a wide variety of defense systems and technologies spanning land, air, naval, and cyber domains. This diverse showcase illustrates the growing innovation and industrial collaboration taking place within the European defense sector. For professionals in the defense industry, the exhibition serves as a critical venue for forging partnerships, exploring market opportunities, and witnessing firsthand the evolution of modern military capabilities.
