At IDEX 2011, the Poly Technologies anti-riot vehicle was not armed, but the version provided to the Democratic Republic of Cong was equipped with an open roof turret, with armour plates on 360°. This turret is armed with a 7.62mm machine gun. The vehicle has optional armament such as a roof-mounted remote controlled weapon station, or automatic grenade launcher.

The Poly Technologiers anti-riot vehicle armoured steel chassis hull is a single structure. The hull of the vehicle provides a protection for the crew against small arms firing and shell splinters. An armour package can be configured to meet specific requirements, which give a mine level protection explosive up to 4 kg under belly and 7 kg under the wheel. The driver is seated on the right with vehicle commander on the left and both have a bullet proof window to the front and one to their side. The ten troops are seated two either side facing inwards and enter the vehicle via a single hydraulic door mounted at the rear of the hull. An additionnal door is mounted to each side of the crew compartment. Each side of the hull is fitted with three bullet-proof windows. The driver and commander can enter the vehicle through doors provided on the either side of the vehicle.
