As the founder of an entirely new segment, the Sprinter – a high performer and reliable work horse, always ready for action – has led the field since 1995. The Sprinter offers efficiency, smooth running characteristics and ride comfort on a par with a passenger car. The Sprinter is subject to ongoing development in the areas of reliability, quality, safety, flexibility, economy, sustainability and service. The optimised transmission reduces fuel consumption to as low as 6.7 litres per 100 km, depending on the engine variant.

The Sprinter is powered by a diesel engine (Euro VI) with 120 kW (163 hp) via the rear wheels. LED technology is used in the lights. Numerous assistants such as Active Brake Assist and Active Lane Keeping Assist relieve the burden on the driver and increase safety for passengers/patients and pedestrians.

Mercedes PRO connect facilitates networking of the vehicle with an operations centre, for example, in a way that is unparalleled in this segment. Depending on the body, its signals can also be included in the networking.

The ambulance body RESCUBE from the company Binz in accordance with DIN 1789 uses highly developed electronics and optimally configured control panels. The side access via wide sliding doors is supplemented by a patented tailgate system with generous stowage space for immobilisation material. The non-slip spray-coated floor is resistant to soiling, viruses, bacteria and germs.
