The module is easy to replace in field conditions and the silencer can be used without the heat-absorbing element, if necessary. The new silencer is 210-mm long, the diameter is 38 mm and the weight - 350 gram. It is fully made of Russian components and received a patent of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property. Besides TsNIITOCHMASH, the MISiS University and the Center for Applied Electrodynamics participated in the design.
