ARC4 RECON is an advanced augmented reality (AR) technology that delivers heads-up situational awareness for outdoor on-the-move applications. Rather than looking down at a 2D map or smartphone device, the user sees virtual icons overlaid on their real-world view.

ARC4 RECON is an AR fusion engine that incorporates advanced head tracking sensors and algorithms, network management software, and an intuitive user interface to overlay iconic information on the user’s environment. ARC4 interfaces to daytime see-through displays and night-vision goggles.

Integrated with an SA application like ATAK, the device enables the operator to keep his head up and observing the mission area while getting valuable information displayed from the application.

PTD is an experienced solution provider for the tactical community with offices in Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany and Australia. With a broad range of products from Warrior Systems over C4ISR equipment up to Platforms & Sensors, PTD can deliver complete capabilities to its customers.  Applied Research Associates, Inc.
