This project falls under the auspices of the International Fund for Ukraine (IFU), collectively funded by the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Lithuania, and Iceland. The support will go towards air defense, naval capabilities, radars, anti-drone systems, and boats.

Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram stated that Norway will support Ukraine for as long as it takes and added that the Ukrainians urgently need more weapons and military equipment. The support from international funds is one of many significant contributions.

Norway has recently intensified its efforts to increase its defense production, both for its national needs and its aid to Ukraine. Oslo allocated 2 billion Norwegian kroner ($190 million) in January for aid to Ukraine.
