Fabryka Broni "Łucznik", a Polish defense Company that produces firearms presents its new 7.62 mm semi-automatic sniper rifle MSBS-GROT in 16" and 20" barrels at MSPO 2019, the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Poland.

The 7.62 mm caliber MSBS-GROT sniper rifle is a modern, original Polish design, powered by 7.62x51 mm NATO (.308 Win.) ammunition, developed in two versions with 406 mm (16 ") and 508 mm barrels (20"). It is the result of cooperation between Fabryka Broni "tucznik" - Radom Sp. z 0.0. and the Military University of Technology.

This sniper rifle is based on the general construction scheme of the 5.56 mm standard (basic) MSBS-GROT rifle and contains all its best features, i.e. safety and reliability of operation as well as high modularity, ergonomics and technical aesthetics.
Arrangement of manipulators in the rifle, i.e. the fire-fuse switch, slider catch, magazine latch and tensioner handle, is similar to the MSBS-GROT rifle, which is an additional advantage of the weapon, positively affecting the quick training of soldiers. It is also possible to replace the barrel assembly at the level of the user himself, reconfigure weapons for right and left-handed shooters (reversible shell ejection system for the right and left side) and interchangeability of modules (butt, cradle, etc.).

The 7.62 mm caliber MSBS-GROT sniper rifles are protected by two registration certificates for industrial Community designs Nos .: 005287141-0001 and 005287141-0002. Whereas the original solutions used in four variants of flasks are protected by the registration certificate of the industrial Community design no. 006,565,230.

Currently, 7.62 mm semi-automatic MSBS-GROT sniper rifles are being implemented into serial production at Fabryka Broni "tucznik" -Radom Sp. z 0.0.
