• Design and protection

  The 50K6 command post vehicle, part of the S-350 Vityaz air defense system, is mounted on a BAZ-69092-12 8x8 high-mobility wheeled chassis, which provides excellent off-road capability and reliable performance in diverse terrains. This mobility allows for rapid deployment and repositioning of the command post as needed. The vehicle is equipped with advanced command and control systems that coordinate the radar and missile launchers, ensuring seamless integration and effective operation of the air defense network. The crew operates from a protected cabin within the vehicle chassis, which is armored to provide protection against small arms fire and shrapnel. This ensures the safety of the operators in hostile environments. The command post's shelter is located at the rear of the crew cab, facilitating real-time communication, data processing, and decision-making essential for managing the air defense operations

• Mobility

  The 50K6 Command and Control vehicle uses a 6x6 truck chassis BAZ-69092-12. This a three axle chassis with a wheel arrangement of 6x6, a three-seat cab and a behind-the-cab engine. The engine is the YaMZ-8424.10-033 multi-fuel four-stroke eight cylinder V-type liquid cooled diesel with a power of 450 hp. This truck can run at a maximum speed of 80 km/h with a maximum road range of 1,000 km.

• Combat Use

  The mobile 50K6 command and control system provides the above ADM systems with target designation of current and prospective aircraft, cruise missiles, ballistic targets, and other air attack weapons, within the range of the air defence systems responsibility coverage zone, as well as their interoperability in adverse tactical environment.
