Shvabe supplies PN21K night vision monoculars to China

The Chinese Optics Company acquired a batch of night vision monoculars PN21K from a major Russian designer of sights and monitoring devices, the Novosibirsk instrument-manufacturing plant (NPZ) of Shvabe. The devices are used for covert monitoring of movements, map reading and other tasks, Rostec said.

PN21K monocular is equipped with electronic optical transformers of the 2+ and third generations for operation in the dark with natural illumination and in complete darkness with infrared light. "We have been cooperating with the Chinese company since 2012 and supply night sights, laser rangers and other technical products. Our monoculars enjoy high demand. A new supply confirms it," NPZ CEO Vasily Rassokhin said.

PN21K can unite two monoculars into a single binocular night vision device with a three zoom. It can be fixed to a helmet and moved from one eye to another, as well as mounted on a gun as a sight.
