The Chief of the Logistical Support Command of the Air Force, Lieutenant General Miguel Ángel Martin Pérez, and the President of Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía, Luis Furnells, officially presented the new generation of aeronautical displays. The new screens are equipping the F-18 flora of the Air Force. In the first phase, 146 front displays and 26 rear displays will be installed. This new generation of displays provides more processing capacity, better performance, a lower workload in operation for the pilot, higher response speed, and control of critical mission instruments, such as the holographic image (Head-Up Display). These characteristics of the displays allow the airplanes to carry out their operations with greater speed and efficiency, which results in greater safety of the Spanish airspace.

The President of Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía recalled that the 100% Spanish technology company has 15 years of experience in the display segment. He also stressed that Grupo Oesía-Tecnobit obtained the award for the development and production of the displays in a competition organized by NATO, with its demanding standards of quality and safety, and managed to overcome the proposals of major international competitors.

The excellent result of this generation of aeronautical displays will have continuity in new product families, both for airplanes and land vehicles. For this reason, Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía has created and launches a new line of development and production in international markets, which it calls Vision.

The President of Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía has advanced that the company is developing touch screens of large format and high resolution and processing, to control any type of aerial platform, both military and civilian.

As for the versions for land vehicles, the Comte family has already been created, multipurpose displays ruggedized in versions of 10.1 and 13.3 inches, which will be installed in the future 8x8 VCR armored vehicle.

Framed in the line of Vision, Tecnobit-Grupo Oesía also deals with the critical chain of processing of the Flir-Irst and is developing the IRST Naval, an innovative system for the protection of vessels against threats.

The Vision line is conceived as a dual technology, which will also be operational in civil environments, such as commercial aviation, automobiles or healthcare.
