The Listva is mounted on Bulat SBA-60-K2 undercarriage (three-axis armored unit 69501 produced by KAMAZ). It searches and neutralizes explosives on the route of Topol, Topol-M and Yars missile launchers, manually and automatically detects remotely controlled mines and neutralizes them. The vehicle was tested at a range near Krasnoarmeisk in Moscow region. It was designed by Globus Bureau in Ryazan. Kaskad Instrument-Manufacturing Plant in Krasnodar is the producer.

Listva is supplied to the Strategic Missile Forces to accompany columns on combat patrol. However, it can also operate in the Ground Forces on various theaters of warfare. Its armored hull has three compartments for the driver and commander, operator, and two engineers. Suits with metallic threads are used to protect the crew from electromagnetic fields.

Listva is equipped with devices to search for metal-containing explosives at a speed of 15 km/h and a distance of a hundred meters. A wide-span multi-zone search module with 16 induction sensors is carried in front, as well as electromagnetic situation control equipment. If necessary, mines can be searched for manually. Portable and stationary electronic jamming equipment with a radius of 70 meters is used to prevent unsanctioned detonation of electronic or remotely controlled mines. Electronic mines are neutralized without destruction by a parabolic antenna on the vehicle top with a powerful microwave emission in the whole sector of the vehicle drive and mine clearance width of 50 meters.

The Teikovskaya division of the Strategic Missile Forces was the first to receive the new vehicles. Tests showed that not a single explosive detonated after the vehicle impacted it. How does it happen? The vehicle has a moving framework in the front mounted on telescopic rods with devices. It advances and lowers to the ground to find mines. The detection range is a hundred meters. If a mine has electronic elements, the powerful emission of Listva burns them down and makes the explosive inoperative.

The designers provided protection against remotely detonated explosives. Cellular phones and pagers are often used to explode them. The vehicle can emit impulses imitating cellular phones and other electronic devices.

However, the vehicle is not completely universal. The high-power microwave transmitter can destroy only mines with remote detonation or electronic systems. It is useless for pressure-type mines although it can timely detect them and warn. Listva crew comprises engineers to neutralize such mines.

The arms procurement order for the Strategic Missile Forces includes up to 20 Listva remote mine clearance vehicles, the Military-Industrial Courier said.
