Ukraine Army receives 10 M106 self-propelled mortars and 2 M577 command vehicles from Lithuania

The latest delivery consists of 12 units of M113s (10 units of M106A2 120 mm self-propelled mortars and 2 units of M577A1 command and control vehicles) and ammunition. Lithuania fulfills its obligations and now 62 M113 of different variants have been sent to Ukraine, Lithuanian Minister of Defense Arvydas Anusauskas states.

In a tweet dated September 26, Lithuanian Minister of Defense Arvydas Anusauskas announced that the last 50 M113 APCs intended for the Ukrainian army had been delivered. According to the Military Balance 2021, before the war started in Ukraine on February 24, Lithuania had a total of 234 M113A1 APCs and 20 M557 command post vehicles based on the chassis of the M113.
