Currently, the United Kingdom is one of the strongest European supporters of Ukraine's efforts to resist Russian forces since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the invasion on February 24, 2022. The United Kingdom has already sent hundreds of millions of Euros worth of military equipment, weapons, and armored vehicles to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian troops.

During a call conference that was held on Sunday, May 8, 2022, by Group of Seven leaders with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the United Kingdom announced a further US$1.60 billion in military support and aid to Ukraine.

On May 7, 2022, Army Recognition reported that British Prime Minister Boris Johnson confirmed that the United Kingdom (UK) will deliver Brimstone anti-ship missiles to Ukraine in the coming weeks. At the same time, the UK will deliver cargo drones which could be the T150 produced by the British company Malloy Aeronautics.

The use of cargo drones in the modern battlefield offers several benefits when compared to traditional helicopters and airplanes. They can be used to transport medical, food, and ammunition supplies to military personnel without loss of life and with a very little maintenance capacity.

In July 2021, the British Navy tested a cargo drone T150 company Malloy Aeronautics in an impromptu operation to rescue a sailor overboard. The drone was also tested by the British Royal Marines to carry underwater autonomous vehicles and military equipment.

The T150 is a quadcopter drone designed and developed by the British company Malloy Aeronautics. the drone is designed to provide soldiers deployed in the combat areas with food and water, parts, munitions, equipment, fuel, ammunition, and all the equipment that soldiers might need on the battlefield.

The T150 is electrically powered and can be controlled by a single soldier using a laptop or a tablet using points on a map to determine its flight route. The drone is able to carry a payload of up to 68 kg at a maximum range of 70 km. It has a maximum flying time of 36 minutes.

The T150 cargo drone can be used in all weather conditions as well as in rainy, windy, snowy, and desert conditions. The drone is also capable to drop military equipment during day and night.
