Lithuanian National Defence Volunteer Force takes delivery of Canadian Quad all-terrain vehicles


According to information published by the Lithuania MoD (Ministry of Defense) on January 6, 2022, Lithuanian National Defense Volunteer Force military personnel patrolling the area of Lithuania’s border with Belarus has received ten new Quad all-terrain vehicles Outlander MAX XT-P 1000 T manufactured by the Canadian company BRP.

BRP owns manufacturing facilities in Canada, the United States, Mexico, Finland, and Austria BRP products include Can-Am all-terrain vehicles (ATV) and Side-by-Side (SxS, UTV, SSV) vehicles are distributed in over 100 countries by more than 4,200 dealers and distributors.

The Lithuanian Defense Materiel Agency under the Ministry of National Defense of Lithuania signed the procurement agreement with Lithuanian company UAB RMM Canadian in July 2021.

A batch of 10 Outlander MAX XT-P 1000 T Quad all-terrain vehicles have already been delivered to the Lithuanian Armed Forces and the remaining part will arrive in the nearest while. The ATVs are also the first ones to be delivered to Military Forces in Europe.
