The MILKOR 380, the largest UAV produced in Africa, arrives at a pivotal time. With growing security challenges, the demand for advanced surveillance and reconnaissance solutions is at an all-time high, particularly within South African defense and security clusters. The MILKOR 380, designed for versatility, fulfills this demand with its capacity for surveillance, reconnaissance, and opportunistic engagement operations.

What sets the MILKOR 380 apart is its integration of world-leading optical equipment. This UAV provides real-time high-definition, infrared, and multispectral video, along with data acquisition transmitted over remote receivers. It's also equipped with cutting-edge Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar (iSAR), perfect for maritime monitoring.

The operational versatility of the MILKOR 380 is unmatched. Its autonomous flight capabilities, including take-off and landing, are managed by an advanced onboard flight control system. This system, with features like pathway placement and loiter pattern, simplifies complex missions. The UAV's five hardpoints allow for the integration of electronic warfare solutions, weapon systems, and external containers, adaptable to various customer requirements.

The UAV's design ensures long endurance at medium altitudes, ideal for all-weather conditions and enhanced performance. The ground control station (GCS) for the MILKOR 380 embraces a modular design approach, allowing customizability for optimal operation and functionality.

A standout feature of the MILKOR 380 is its dual redundant Line-of-Sight communications systems, capable of maintaining contact with its control unit for up to 200 km. The transition between Line of Sight and Beyond Line of Sight Communications is seamless, underscoring the UAV's advanced technological capabilities.

Visitors to the World Defense Show 2024 are invited to the MILKOR booth to witness first-hand the MILKOR 380, a symbol of innovation and security in the skies. Don't miss this opportunity to see the future of airborne defense and surveillance technology.
