Show Features DSEI 2011
DSEi offers both exhibitors and visitors the opportunity to see the latest technology and products in action through an increasing number of feature areas and demonstrations.
 
Security Demonstration & Showcase
DSEi 2011 will offer both exhibitors and visitors more opportunities than ever before to demonstrate and keep up to date with the latest developments and issues within the security arena.
Dedicated demonstration and showcase areas will be introduced for the first time in 2011, as well as an on-floor seminar series addressing the latest developments and issues surrounding key security topics.

UVS/Robotics Showcase
DSEi is launching the worlds largest Robotics and Unmanned Systems Showcase area. This new feature will showcase all unmanned vehicle systems. Live demonstrations of these will be conducted in the exhibition hall. The Robotics and Unmanned Systems Showcase is supported by AUVSI, the world’s leading non-profit organisation for advancing unmanned systems.

Air Platforms
Looking toward the future, aerial vehicles will no longer work in isolation. They will be required to shift roles and operate across land, sea and air. The latest aerospace capabilities will be at DSEi 2011 with a display of fixed and rotor wing military aircraft and the world’s largest UAV demonstration area.

 
Waterborne Demonstrations
Demonstrations are conducted by various naval suppliers and will include RIBs in action, military pontoon equipment, offshore raiding craft as well as a demonstration of ship-boarding.

Innovation Showcase
The Innovation Showcase provides an opportunity for any exhibiting company to present new products,demonstrate new technology and brief DSEi visitors on the latest industry developments.
Each presentation is 30 minutes in duration and the showcase is held throughout the 4 days of DSEi.

Visiting Naval Ships
DSEi works closely with various nations in providing an unparalleled co-located marine experience where visiting Warships and Research vessels from an array of nations and industries can demonstrate their latest ideas in naval ship design and equipment.
The vessels are available for visitors to DSEi to visit and have conducted tours. DSEi 2009 featured 3 vessels representing the Dutch Navy and the Royal Navy.

British Army Demonstration Area
The British Army Export Support Team, which includes soldiers with infantry, armoured, engineer and artillery expertise as well as operational experience demonstrate a range of equipment under a theme chosen to reflect the current operational challenges faced by armed forces at home and in theatre.
