The UMEX (Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference) 2024 is a leading event in the Middle East region. This sixth edition of the exhibition and conference is unique in the Middle East. UMEX 2024, held in Abu Dhabi, is an essential meeting place for manufacturers, operators, and professionals in the unmanned systems sector.

This event offers a unique platform to discover and exploit global commercial opportunities in the unmanned systems sector. With a dedicated and expanded commercial zone, UMEX 2024 perfectly illustrates the immense potential of this sector.

Technically, THeMIS measures 247 cm in length, 204 cm in width, and 117 cm in height, weighs 1,630 kg, and can carry a maximum payload of 1,200 kg. It is capable of climbing slopes up to 60% and side slopes up to 30%, with a ground clearance of 60 cm and a pulling force of 15,000 N. This vehicle can overcome obstacles up to 90 cm and reach a maximum speed of 20 km/h, with a towing capacity of up to 80 km/h. It operates either with a diesel engine and an electric generator or with a lead-acid or Li-ion battery pack, offering up to 15 hours of runtime in hybrid mode and up to 1.5 hours in electric mode. Its line-of-sight control range is up to 1.5 km.

Available color options for THeMIS include military green and military desert. In terms of communication capabilities, it is equipped with a 2.4 GHz MIMO Mesh IP radio with AES256 encryption and frequency-hopping support. For detection and surveillance, Themis uses LiDARs and 1,080p cameras, complemented by LED lighting.

Themis is designed according to the STANAG 3542 standard, making it air transportable. Its versatility and advanced capabilities make it an ideal platform for various military and security applications, offering a powerful combination of mobility, payload capacity, and cutting-edge technologies for field operations.

THeMIS stands out as an advanced robotic ground platform, capable of adapting to various roles in the most challenging environments, highlighting the ongoing evolution of robotics and autonomy in the defense and security field. Its presentation at UMEX 2024 is unsurprising, as this UGV has been a prominent feature at trade shows for some time.
