FoxMarket to exhibit custom Canadian Nanuk protective cases at Future Forces 2026 in Czech Republic.
Czech defense integrator FoxMarket announced on August 31, 2026, that it will exhibit Canadian-made Nanuk protective hard cases at the Future Forces Exhibition & Forum 2026 (FF26) in Prague from October 21 to 23. The integration effort combines Nanuk’s IP67-rated resin shells with custom Czech-engineered foam interiors, internal mounting panels, and component markings tailored for military payloads. This configuration structure allows defense units to standardize transport envelopes across weapons, unmanned aerial vehicles, counter-UAS systems, and electro-optics while modifying internal geometries for specific field operations.
FoxMarket provides localized customization of Nanuk’s 31 case models (ranging from the 28.5-liter Nanuk 935 to the 79-liter Nanuk 960) to accommodate defense payloads such as AR-pattern rifles and unmanned ground or aerial control platforms. The enclosures utilize NK-7 resin shells with PowerClaw latches certified to IP67, MIL-STD-810H, and DEF-STAN 81-41 standards, providing temperature resistance from -55°C to 71°C alongside automated pressure equalization for military air transport.

On August 31, 2026, the Czech company FoxMarket confirmed that it will exhibit Canada's Nanuk protective cases at the Future Forces Exhibition & Forum 2026 (FF26) at PVA Expo Praha in Prague-Letňany from October 21 to 23, focusing on configurations for firearms, drones, electro-optics, communications equipment, sensors, electronics, diagnostic equipment, medical systems, and measuring instruments. FoxMarket has represented Nanuk in the Czech Republic and Slovakia since November 2020 and combines the Canadian enclosure with locally configured custom-cut foam, cubed polyurethane foam, padded dividers, equipment markings, internal panels, and component-specific layouts.
Nanuk's catalogue currently contains 31 case sizes, ranging from the 28.5 L Nanuk 935 to the 79 L Nanuk 960, while the long-case family provides usable internal lengths from 930 mm in the 985 to 1,321 mm in the 995. For instance, the Nanuk 990 provides a 1,118 × 368 × 152 mm internal compartment specifically suited to rifles and elongated equipment, whereas the 988 provides 1,060 × 346 × 318 mm and therefore more than twice the internal depth of the 990 for bulkier payloads. Nanuk's cases also combine NK-7 injection-molded resin shells, PowerClaw compression latches, perimeter seals, automatic pressure equalization, stainless-steel hardware, and reinforced locking points with IP67 protection and military environmental qualification. Future Forces places FoxMarket in front of military organizations working with exactly the equipment categories for which these configurations are intended.
The Future Forces Exhibition & Forum 2026 (FF26) is scheduled to occupy more than 20,000 m² and bring together more than 400 exhibitors from over 35 countries, participants and official delegations from more than 70 countries, more than 9,000 attendees and over 1,000 official delegates and VIPs, with more than 40 conferences and expert panels during the wider October 19-23 program. The exhibition halls will be accessible from October 21 to October 23, with a focus on professional visitors, military personnel, government organizations, security services, and industry. The capability areas include individual soldier equipment, weapons, optics, UAVs, counter-UAS systems, autonomous systems, robotics, sensors, command-and-control, electronic warfare, communications, military medicine, CBRN defense, logistics, as well as land and air systems.
NATO participation includes the NATO Army Armaments Group Land Capability Group Dismounted Soldier Systems and NATO Support and Procurement Agency Dismounted Soldier Equipment User Group, whose work includes weapons, soldier protection, sensors, equipment interoperability, and associated requirements. FF26 is also scheduled to include a mobile containerized live-firing range for firearms, ammunition, optics, ballistic protection, and sensors, as well as indoor and outdoor demonstrations. FoxMarket can therefore address several distinct payload classes at the same event: a rifle may require more than 1 m of internal case length but limited depth, a communications or Counter-UAS electronics package may require greater vertical volume, and a UAV set must accommodate the aircraft together with batteries, controller, charger, antennas, payloads, cables and replacement components.

FoxMarket was incorporated on April 28, 2015, as Siniscola s.r.o. and operates from Bělohorská, Prague 6-Břevnov. Miroslav Tesarczyk has been involved in its management since 2015 and serves as managing director, while ownership is currently divided equally between Tesarczyk and Vít Ledvinka, each holding 50%. FoxMarket's Nanuk representation in the Czech Republic and Slovakia dates from November 2020, and on December 6, 2022, the company added licensed activities covering the purchase, sale, transport, lending, and storage of weapons and ammunition, allowing it to work directly with firearm-oriented case configurations. The company does not mold the NK-7 shells: its work begins with selection of the appropriate Nanuk geometry and continues through measurement of the customer's equipment, positioning of individual components, foam engineering and cutting, markings and, where required, integration of panels and electronics.
This permits the production of comparatively small equipment-specific configurations without changing the Canadian-manufactured shell. A customer can therefore standardize on a particular Nanuk model while FoxMarket changes the internal geometry for different rifles, optical devices, radios, UAV components, or diagnostic equipment. Nanuk's manufacturing history dates to 1984, and production remains in Quebec, while the corporate entity changed from Plasticase Inc. to Nanuk Gear Protection Inc. in May 2024. The hard-case structure uses injection-molded NK-7 resin, molded ribs and reinforced corners, stainless-steel hardware, and a perimeter seal compressed by PowerClaw latches. Unlike a simple catch that primarily prevents the lid from opening, the PowerClaw lever mechanically pulls the two sections together and maintains pressure on the seal; the larger Nanuk 960 uses four of these latches.
Applicable cases carry IP67 protection, meaning complete dust protection and temporary immersion in 1 m of water for 30 minutes. MIL-STD-810H impact qualification subjects a case to 26 drops from at least 1.22 m across its faces, edges, and corners at 23°C. Thermal qualification includes 48 hours at 71°C and 72 hours at -55°C, a 126°C spread between the two test extremes. Vibration exposure covers 5-500 Hz for one hour on each axis, while the dust test lasts eight hours at a talcum-powder concentration of 2 kg/m³. Applicable defense configurations also use STANAG 4280/3 and DEF-STAN 81-41 requirements, while ATA 300 covers transportation-related performance, and individual products have additional qualifications, including MIL-STD-810F immersion and ASTM D-4169 DC-18 rainfall.
An automatic pressure-release valve addresses a separate transport problem by equalizing internal and external pressure after altitude or temperature changes, reducing the differential that can otherwise make a watertight enclosure difficult to open after air transport. The Nanuk range is better understood through its dimensions and mass than through a generic division between small and large cases. The wheeled Nanuk 935 measures 559 × 356 × 229 mm externally and 521 × 287 × 191 mm internally, giving 28.5 L of volume at 5.3 kg empty, with 53 mm of usable depth in the lid and 137 mm in the base, maximum buoyancy of 26.4 kg and an airline carry-on-oriented external envelope. The Nanuk 960 increases external dimensions to 645 × 508 × 368 mm and internal dimensions to 559 × 432 × 328 mm, providing 79 L at 8.7 kg empty and maximum buoyancy of 76 kg.

It therefore provides 50.5 L more internal volume than the 935, a 177% increase, while empty mass rises by 3.4 kg, or 64%. The Nanuk 990 uses a substantially different geometry: 1,196 × 440 × 168 mm externally and 1,118 × 368 × 152 mm internally, producing 62.7 L at 8.1 kg empty, with 41 mm of lid depth, 112 mm of base depth and 65.8 kg maximum buoyancy. The 935, 960 and 990 all specify -55°C to +70°C operating ranges and 8.6 mm reinforced padlock holes, but the 960 has 2.16 times the internal depth of the 990, while the 990 has twice the internal length of the 960. The long-case catalogue adds the 985 at 930 × 368 × 152 mm internally, the 988 at 1,060 × 346 × 318 mm, the 991 at 1,131 × 435 × 212 mm and the 995 at 1,321 × 368 × 152 mm.
The 995 is 203 mm longer internally than the 990 and 391 mm longer than the 985, while the 988's 318-mm depth is 166 mm greater than the 990 and 109% deeper, allowing selection according to actual weapon or equipment geometry rather than overall case volume alone. The 990 AR15 configuration shows how the payload-specific interior changes the military utility of the enclosure. The basic 990 provides 1,118 mm of internal length and 62.7 L of volume at 8.1 kg empty, while the dedicated AR15 configuration uses fitted foam for one AR-pattern rifle, one handgun, four single- or double-stack handgun magazines, and two larger magazine compartments. Each larger compartment can hold as many as eight AR magazines, giving capacity for up to 16 AR magazines across those two positions, in addition to ammunition or eye-protection storage, hearing-protection space, and other accessories.
Two desiccant filters and two TSA PowerClaw combination latches are also incorporated. With foam installed, the case weighs 9.78 kg, 1.68 kg more than the 8.1-kg empty enclosure. The important distinction is that this same internal engineering method can be applied to equipment with completely different mass distribution and geometry. A UAV case can place the drone, controller, several batteries, charger, antennas, spare propellers, cables and payloads into separate recesses; a communications case can divide space among the radio, handset, battery packs, antennas, cables and power supply; and a night-vision kit can separate the optical devices from mounts, batteries and adapters. The outer case and foam therefore address different loads: IP67 and the shell protect against external water, dust and impact, while fitted foam limits relative acceleration and component-to-component contact inside the enclosure.
The fixed recesses provide an additional inventory function because an empty location immediately identifies a missing magazine, battery, optic, controller, cable or tool before the case is closed and dispatched. The 935 demonstrates another use in which the protective case becomes part of the deployed equipment instead of being discarded or set aside after transportation. Its integrated bezel allows a panel to be mounted inside the case without drilling through the external shell, preserving the sealed outer structure while providing a fixed mechanical interface for electronics. Nanuk supplies 2D case drawings, foam drawings, aluminum and Lexan bezel-plate drawings, and three-dimensional internal surfaces in STEP, IGES, and Parasolid formats. An integrator can therefore determine panel dimensions, component clearances, connector positions, and internal interference in CAD before cutting the panel or foam.

Computers, displays, switches, connectors, power supplies, instrumentation and control electronics can remain attached to the panel during movement and operation. A portable communications terminal, for example, can keep its radio or computer, internal wiring and power management components mounted inside the 521 × 287 × 191 mm internal envelope, with only external antennas, power or data connections attached at the operating location. Similar configurations apply to UAV ground-control equipment, sensor-control units, portable diagnostic systems, electronic test sets and field instrumentation. This reduces repeated removal, installation and reconnection of components and allows the same enclosure to function in two states: closed as a sealed transport container and open as the mechanical housing of the operating equipment.
FoxMarket's local work on foam, panels and identification therefore determines whether a Nanuk case is simply carrying an electronic subsystem or is physically incorporated into that subsystem. At the Future Forces Exhibition & Forum 2026 (FF26), the more consequential feature is the possibility of separating external case standardization from internal equipment standardization. Nanuk supplies empty cases, conventional foam, pre-scored multi-layer polyurethane foam, padded dividers, firearm inserts, organizers and equipment panels, allowing multiple configurations to retain the same external shell dimensions.
A fleet of 935 cases can therefore use the same 559 × 356 × 229 mm external footprint for storage racks and transport planning, even if one carries electro-optics, another contains measuring equipment, and a third incorporates a communications panel. Long equipment can be assigned according to the actual required length: 930 mm in the 985, 1,060 mm in the deeper 988, 1,118 mm in the 990, 1,131 mm in the wider 991, and 1,321 mm in the 995. Those fixed envelopes can be incorporated into vehicle racks, shelving, depot storage positions and pallet calculations before the precise payload is known, while custom interiors retain the equipment in defined positions.
This is particularly relevant for inventories of relatively small, high-value equipment such as thermal imagers, night-vision devices, radios, UAV sensors, controllers, electronic warfare components, diagnostic sets and calibrated instruments, where a damaged connector, lens, antenna, battery interface or sensor can make the entire kit unavailable even when the principal component remains intact. FoxMarket's model is consequently based on two production levels with different economies of scale: Nanuk repeatedly manufactures the standardized NK-7 enclosure in Canada, while FoxMarket modifies the lower-volume interior in the Czech Republic for the individual customer and payload. At FF26, that places the company in the logistics and integration chain supporting the weapons, sensors, UAVs, communications equipment, and soldier systems exhibited elsewhere at the event.
