The Fennek is a 4x4 reconnaissance armored vehicle produced by the German Defense Company KMW (Krauss-Maffei Wegmann). The main role of the Fennek is reconnaissance, thanks to a retractable mast mounted towards the rear of the hull on the left side, which is fitted with a sensor pod containing a thermal camera, day camera, and a laser range finder.

The FUCHS TPz1 is a German 6x6 armoured vehicle personnel carrier developed by Daimler-Benz and built by Thyssen-Henschel in 1979. The latest variants of the vehicle are marketed by the German Company Rheinmetall Defence. The first production vehicle was handed over to the German Army, which also calls the vehicle the Fuchs, in December 1979. Deliveries of the Transportpanzer 1 were completed in late 1986.
