Patriot® GEM-T: Combat-Proven, Built Through European Partnerships.

Raytheon’s Patriot® Advanced Capability-2 (PAC-2) Guidance Enhanced Missile-Tactical (GEM-T) is a primary effector for the combat-proven Patriot air and missile defense system.

Propelled by the largest single-stage, all-boost solid‑propellant rocket motor in its class, GEM‑T combines high missile speed with shorter engagement timelines—an advantage that outpaces and outmaneuvers evasive threats. GEM-T offers proven ability to defend against tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles or enemy aircraft in complement to the PAC-3 missile, another Patriot interceptor.

An obsolescence modernization program has introduced significant performance improvements against tactical ballistic missiles, small airborne threats and cruise missiles.

With hundreds of combat intercepts, GEM-T has demonstrated accuracy and reliability on the battlefield. This record of success has spurred a spike in global demand -- two recent contracts for Patriot highlight that momentum:

• In September, Raytheon was awarded a $627 million contract in partnership with the NATO Support and Procurement Agency (NSPA) to supply Germany with additional GEM-T missiles
• Raytheon recently signed a $3.7 billion contract to supply Patriot GEM-T interceptors for Ukraine
• In June, Raytheon was awarded a $988 million contract to supply GEM-T missiles to Poland
