The report focuses on how CSG Defence is expanding its role in the European defense industry through industrial cooperation, regional production, and new armored vehicle solutions. The partnership with FNSS represents an important step toward strengthening armored vehicle production for European customers while supporting NATO-compatible land capabilities.

At the center of the video is the KARPAT CFL-120, a tracked armored combat vehicle equipped with a 120 mm gun and designed to combine firepower, mobility, and operational flexibility. The vehicle responds to growing demand from modern land forces for platforms capable of delivering strong direct-fire support while remaining more deployable than heavier armored systems.

The KARPAT CFL-120 is designed to bridge the gap between traditional main battle tanks and lighter armored combat vehicles. With a combat weight of up to 34 tonnes, a crew of four, a maximum road speed of 70 km/h, and an operational range of around 450 km, the vehicle is positioned as a mobile and deployable combat platform suited for modern European defense requirements.

A key feature of the KARPAT CFL-120 is its Leonardo HITFACT MkII turret, which can be fitted with either a 120 mm or 105 mm cannon depending on customer requirements. In its 120 mm configuration, the vehicle offers compatibility with NATO-standard ammunition, while its stabilized fire-control system, hunter-killer capability, and digital battlefield functions are designed to support rapid target detection and engagement during high-intensity operations.

The CSG-FNSS cooperation also reflects a wider trend across Europe, where armed forces are seeking to modernize their land combat fleets while reinforcing local defense industrial capacity. By combining CSG Defence’s European industrial presence with FNSS experience in armored vehicle development, the partnership could support future programs focused on mobility, survivability, and rapid deployment.

Through this DefenseWebTV report, viewers can discover not only the technical features of the KARPAT CFL-120, but also the strategic importance of the partnership behind the vehicle. The interview provides valuable insight into how CSG Defence aims to position itself as a key European supplier of advanced land defense systems.

The presentation of the KARPAT CFL-120 at Eurosatory 2026 and the growing cooperation between CSG Defence and FNSS underline a major step in Europe’s armored vehicle modernization efforts.
