The FNSS PARS IV 6x6 SOV provides an unmatched optimum combination of the survivability of an MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) vehicle and the tactical mobility of a wheeled armored combat vehicle. The vehicle's high level of ballistic, mine and IED (Improvised Explosive Device) protection along with the RPG (Rocket-Propelled Grenade) net is designed to protect the crew and the power pack against unconventional threats where the timing and intensity of the threat cannot be estimated.

The FNSS PARS IV 6x6 SOV is equipped with two Remotely-operated Weapon Stations (RWS), one mounted at the front of the vehicle and another one at the rear top roof. Each RWS can be armed with 7.62 mm, .50 Cal machine guns or 40mm automatic grenade launchers, and can be easily changed depending on mission requirements.

The FNSS PARS IV 6x6 SOV is equipped with new-generation mission equipment which ensures combat effectiveness, safer route planning, command/control, and rapid targeting. All this equipment has been specifically designed to carry special operations units to their mission objectives where multiple threats can be in place and provide fire support to the teams in the field. The onboard vision equipment provides a high level of electrical and optical situational awareness for all the crew members and Special Forces operators. The vehicle’s special design enables maximum optical visual situational awareness with more than 180 degrees for the driver and the personnel placed at the front section of the vehicle. The new generation electronic infrastructure provides 360 degrees of situational awareness for all the team members. Owing to these features, the vehicle can easily be operated under armor at all times with hatches closed position.

The FNSS PARS IV 6x6 SOV is powered by a Diesel engine coupled to a fully automatic transmission with 7 forward and two reverse gears. It can run at a maximum road speed of 100 km/h with a maximum cruising range of 700 km. The vehicle can cross a trench of 1.5 m, climb a vertical obstacle of up to 0.6 m, and has a fording depth capability of 1.5 m. It can negotiate a slope gradient of 60% and a side slope of 30%.

In terms of technical features, the PARS IV 6x6 SOV has a length of around 7 m, a width of 3m, and a height of 2.45m. It has a combat weight of 26,000 kg.
