International Saratoga

At AUSA 2011 United States Army Anual meeting and exposition, the American Defence Company Navistar Defense unveils its new light tactical vehicle the International Saratoga. The International® Saratoga is Navistar Defense’s light weight, highly-mobile, multipurpose vehicle that provides a significant level of survivability. The cost-effective platform utilizes new design innovations that maximize protection and versatility. An ideal vehicle for a wide variety of missions, the Saratoga has improved ground clearance and can kneel down for ease of transport. Navistar Defense designed the vehicle for superior survivability, mobility and transportability to target the gap between the current High Mobility Multi-purpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) Modernized Expanded Capacity Vehicle (MECV) and Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) programs. The vehicle is ready for production to meet today’s mission needs. The vehicle meets the most demanding performance needs and has undergone more than 25,000 miles (40,000 km) of automotive testing.
