ECA Group Unmanned Group Vehicle UGV Cobra Mk2 combat proven with the French Army.
In the frame of European Heritage Days (France) ECA Group's UGV Cobra MK2 was presented in the Hotel of Brienne, premices of the Ministry of Defence. ECA Group's mini Unmanned Ground Vehicle - UGV, the COBRA MK2, was in demonstration, piloted by a military engineer.

The ECA Group is renowned for its expertise in robotics, automated systems, simulation and industrial processes. Ever since 1936 it has been developing complete innovative technological solutions to perform complex missions in hostile or restrictive environments.

The COBRA MK2 is designed to perform multiple military operations, in particular Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance - ISR, counter-IED - Improvised Explosive Device, and also Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear - CBRN defence.

Cobra MK2 I is fitted with day and night cameras especially for intelligence and reconnaissance operations. The 5 kg UGV can be easily deployed by a dismounted soldier and remote control on the field thanks to its ultra light operator control unit.

The Direction Générale de l’Armement, the French governement defense procurement agency, decided to purchase 3 ground robots COBRA MK2 for each engineering regiment. The COBRA MK2 is now combat proven since it was used in many theatres of operations such as Afghanistan. As a result, the Military Engineering was proud to present this very useful and resistant UGV.
