In the under 15-tons vehicle segments, PANHARD provides a range of vehicles capable of stisfying all the requirements of modern armed forces.
Since 1904, the Panhard brand has become closely linked to all operations carried out by the French Army. Generations of armoured vehicle crews have used the AMD-178, EBR and AML-60/90, and those vehicles have been followed by the Sagaie and the VBL. In the Panhard tradition, an armoured vehicle must be extremely mobile in all types of terrain in order to be able to intervene urgently thousands of kilometres from their home country.
Panhard vehicles are well known for their innovative designs which provide the crews operating them with a real tactical advantage. This is well illustrated by the EBR with its two driver stations at the front and rear of the vehicle (driver and reversing operator).

Combat
Panhard has always been an expert in manufacturing easily transportable and extremely well armed vehicles, like the AML-90 and the ERC 90. The Kornet VBL anti-tank vehicle and the VBR armed with its medium-calibre gun are perfect illustrations of this tradition. The robustness and performances of Panhard vehicles have been key in crisis periods, for the French Army and for the armed forces of other countries.
