IDEF 2021 Day 2 International Defense Exhibition in Istanbul Turkey daily coverage report
 

Review about the new development of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles and weapon stations designed by the Turkish company FNSS displayed at IDEF 2021, defense exhibition in Turkey, including the Kaplan MT, ZAHA Marine Assault Vehicle, Kaplan STA tracked armored, Shadow Rider UGV, PARS IV 6x6, PARS NG 8x8 armored, Px6, ARS Scout SPV 6x6, PARS 4x4 STA and PARS III 6x6 with a new turret.

The Turkish company FNSS continues to develop and design new generation of wheeled and tracked armored vehicles. In this video, we will focus on the PARS IV 8x8 NG New Generation tailored to respond to the needs and demands of allied armies, the Shadow Rider unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) concept, fitted now with a 25mm unmanned remote turret and the PARS IV 6x6 armored vehicle in Special Operations configuration.

Teber 35 Remote Controlled Turret (RCT) system design studies were initiated simultaneously to be integrated on the PARS IV 8x8 New Generation Wheeled Armoured Vehicle, in 2019, within the scope of the New Generation Vehicles Project carried out by the Presidency of Defence Industries. Hence, Teber 35 RCT is exhibited in IDEF 2021 together with the PARS IV 8x8.

AT IDEF 2021, the International Defense Exhibition in Turkey, the Turkish company Profen showcases its light Manpack Satellite Terminal. With its Total weight of 16 kg (without case) and compact design, it facilitates a one-man setup and operation.

In addition to a fully electric-powered engine, Akrep II also appears in diesel (displayed at IDEF 2021) and hybrid powerpack options. Akrep II combines the latest automotive technologies, high firepower and protection in a low silhouette. Having effective firepower under armor and high payload capacity, Akrep II comfortably carries turrets armed with up to a 90mm cannon, as demonstrated with the John Cockrill Defense CSE 90LP (90mm Low Pressure) turret showcased at IDEF 2021.
