At UMEX 2022, the fifth edition of Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference held in Abu Dhabi from 21 to 23 February, Adasi - a EDGE Group company - showcases lthe latest member of its QX family of drones, the  QX-6, a  VTOL (vertical take-off and landing)  cargo UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle).

AR-36 is a full-autonomous, low-altitude, long-endurance, multi-purpose, tail-mounted, vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAV. It combines the advantages of VTOL and a long-endurance feature of a fixed-wing UAV. It is motorized with a hybrid powerplant.

The V-BAT 128 unmanned aircraft system (UAS) is an upgraded version of V-BAT vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) UAS manufactured by Martin UAV, a US-based advanced aviation technology company. This initial V-BAT was unveiled in March 2021. The new aircraft (V-BAT 128) offers increased payload capacity and endurance compared to its predecessor.

On February 20th-23rd 2022, Naval Group presents its leading technologies in Abu Dhabi at the UMEX. The SDAM rotary-wing air-raid drone mock-up developed in partnership with Airbus will be displayed on Naval Group’s booth along with the Belharra digital multi-mission frigate one and, among other solutions, a digital representation of the D19 UUV (Unmanned Underwater Vehicle) as well as Sirehna USVs.

The multipurpose rotary-wing drone IKA-20 (codename RW-20), designed and produced in Serbia by PR-DC, has a hexacopter (6 rotors) configuration and carbon-fiber-reinforced epoxy resin frame with a standard payload mount rail system. The product was launched in July 2021 and is currently in series production. Drones are available for testing and training at the company's training center near Belgrade, Serbia.

At UMEX 2022 unmanned defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi, UAE, American company General Atomics Aeronautical (GA-ASI) displays its SeaGuardian which is the maritime version of the MQ-9B, an unmanned aerial system (UAS) capable of remotely controlled or autonomous flight operations developed by General Atomics Aeronautical Systems (GA-ASI) primarily for the United States Air Force (USAF).

Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, H.H. Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, opened today the fifth edition of UMEX & SimTEX 2022, a unique event specialising in unmanned systems, simulation, training, AI, robotics, and multi-use systems for defence and civilian sectors.
