The U.S. presence at Expodefensa V, featuring industry-leading companies such as Lockheed Martin, Harris Corp. and GLOCK America, is organized by Kallman Worldwide, Inc., in coordination with numerous U.S. government agencies.

Kallman was selected to be the official U.S. Representative of Expodefensa this year by the well-established show’s organizers CORFERIAS and COGES. The centerpiece of the national effort is the nearly 440 sqm (gross) U.S. International Pavilion, a destination for buyers looking for an efficient way to meet a critical mass of U.S. suppliers, and an on-site business hub for U.S. exhibitors looking to maximize their exposure and impact at the event.

“When U.S. companies commit to exhibit at Expodefensa, they’re saying they believe in the power of this event to attract real business prospects and customers,” said Kallman Worldwide President and CEO, Tom Kallman.

“As the organizer of the U.S International Pavilion, our team is proud to help our exhibitors capitalize on this influential international business opportunity to grow their share of the regional marketplace, and further extend our nation’s global defense and security leadership.”

The nearly 20 U.S. companies participating in the U.S. International Pavilion range from publicly traded stalwarts to privately held innovators. They represent a cross-section of leading suppliers looking for new export opportunities and to strengthen regional business relationships.

Highlights of the U.S. presence include MAC Aerospace Corporation, which is one of six companies exhibiting with the state of Virginia (Booth 2021). MAC is a leading supplier of parts, components and maintenance solutions for military aircraft, radar and weapon systems worldwide. The company has expanded its capabilities to include an array of support solutions, from urgently needed spare parts for military defense systems to valuable services such as export licensing, engineering, and overhaul repair services.

In addition to organizing the national Pavilion, Kallman Worldwide is promoting all U.S. exhibitors with its “Ask the U.S.A. First” on-site advocacy campaign. The message will be placed prominently around the U.S. International Pavilion, integrated into hospitality and VIP events during the show, and promoted in social media (follow on Twitter @kallmanEWC).

“The United States is the world's biggest defense and security industry supplier, but that’s no guarantee that buyers will look to work with U.S. companies over others,” said Kallman. “As the organizer of the U.S. presence at Expodefensa, we have a responsibility to advocate not only for our exhibitors, but for our nation in this highly competitive global marketplace. We want every visitor to ‘Ask the U.S.A. first’ at Expodefensa.”
