Walther announces that one of the key features of the PD380 is its minimal recoil, making it suitable for those new to shooting. This reduced recoil ensures confident handling, making the shooting experience enjoyable and less intimidating for beginners.

The PD380 also stands out for its versatility, thanks to its Double Action/Single Action (DA/SA) trigger system. This system allows for rapid follow-up shots and offers the option to carry the weapon with the hammer down, broadening the range of shooting styles it can accommodate.

In terms of design, the PD380 incorporates Walther Arms' SuperTerrain Serrations. These are unique, protruding serrations on the slide, allowing for quicker and more responsive handling of the pistol. Additionally, the Performance Duty grip texture improves control and comfort, ensuring a secure hold.

The PD380's safety features include an ambidextrous slide-mounted safety, allowing users to engage or disengage the safety mechanism with either hand. This feature makes the pistol more user-friendly for left-handed individuals.
