According to pictures released on the Twitter account of Damian Ratka on October 29, 2020, Poland hast conducted field tests with a new version of the Rosomak 8x8 armored vehicle fitted with a new unmanned turret ZSSW-30 30mm cannon designed and manufactured by the Polish Company HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola).

The Rosomak is an 8x8 armored vehicle based on the AMV (Armored Modular Vehicle) designed and manufactured by the Finnish company Patria. The Rosomak was tailored according to requests of the Polish army and locally manufactured by the Company Rosomak S.A.
In December 2002, the Polish Ministry of National Defense signed a contract to buy 690 Patria AMV vehicles, to be manufactured in Poland that were delivered in two main variants, APC Armored Personnel Carrier and IFV Infantry Fighting Vehicle. In 2013, Poland has placed an additional order to reach a total of 997 vehicles.
The Patria Technology Transfer was concluded in 2005 but production and strong co-operation between Patria and Rosomak S.A. are active and ongoing.
The layout of the Rosomak is very similar to the Patria AMV with the driver at the front left with the powerpack on its right. The turret is in the middle of the hull and the troop's compartment at the rear can accommodate up to 10 infantrymen.
The Rosomak is based on an 8x8 chassis powered by a DI 12 Scania Diesel engine developing 480 hp or 543 hp. The vehicle can run at a maximum road speed of 100 km with a maximum cruising range of 800 km. The Rosomak is fully amphibious and propelled in the water at a maximum speed of 10 km/h thanks to two waterjets mounted at the rear of the hull.
The IFV version of the Polish Rosomak is fitted with an Hitfist power-operated two-man turret manufactured by the Italian Company Leonardo armed with one 30mm ATK-44 chain gun, one UKM-2000C coaxial machine, and six M81mm 902A ZM Dezamet smoke grenade launchers.
The ZSSW-30 is a new remotely operated weapon station designed and manufactured by the Polish Company HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola). The turret provides the same level of protection as the hull of the vehicle.
The ZSSW-30 turret is armed with one 30mm ATK-44 chain gun, one coaxial machine UKM-2000C 7.62x51 NATO caliber successor of the Soviet-made PKT, and two launchers for the Spike-LR ATGM (Anti-Yank Guided Missile. The turret is also fitted with a computerized fire control system and laser range finder.
