What formerly belonged to the realm of science fiction has become reality for U.S. soldiers, with advances enabling them to fight and win with next-generation technology. Joint Manufacturing and Technology Center will help distribute one of these advances to soldiers across the Army and in the field, a mixed-reality headset called the Integrated Visual Augmentation System, or IVAS, in partnership with Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier. On December 14, 2022, the German army released pictures showing the new Wiesel 1 MELLS, a new anti-tank light airborne tracked armored vehicle which is now entered into service. German company Rheinmetall presents its new Fuchs A9 High Roof, an improved version of the Fuchs 6x6 armored vehicle that entered into service with the German army in December 1979.
