SCORPION, a transformation program for the Army

The Jaguar armored reconnaissance and combat vehicle (EBRC) and the Griffon multi-role armored vehicle (VBMR) were developed as part of the SCORPION program led by the DGA, alongside the Serval light VBMR vehicles. They are natively designed to implement the SCORPION combat information system (SICS). SICS gives our soldiers the means to lead collaborative combat, thanks to the communication of information in real time between different units and the digitalization of the battlefield. To implement these new combat capabilities, the 6th light armored brigade (6th BLB) will be the first SCORPION combined arms brigade (BIA) from the end of 2023.
