Since the beginning of the conflict in Ukraine, many companies and countries have been trying to develop new technologies in the military field. Today, it is devDroid's turn to present us with a unique remote-controlled turret incorporating AI.

The AI in the TGP combat module is programmed to recognize movements and manpower. Once it has detected a target, the weapon is raised from the trench, and the operator is signaled. The AI independently aims and calculates ballistics, while the operator, who can be located at a safe distance, only needs to confirm fire opening.

The AI system is not just a simple targeting mechanism; it is designed to calculate ballistics and aim the weapon with a high degree of accuracy. This reduces the margin for human error and increases the efficiency of the combat system. The human operator plays a crucial role in this setup, as they are the ones who confirm the opening of fire. This adds an additional layer of tactical decision-making to the system, ensuring that the AI does not operate entirely autonomously in a combat scenario.

The development of AI-driven combat systems like the TGP combat module could impact the war in Ukraine. It allows for more precise targeting and reduces the risk to human operators. However, it also raises questions about the AI's ability to actually avoid accidents, such as friendly fire, for example.

While details about devDroid's TGP combat module are still scarce, the system represents a significant leap in the integration of AI into modern combat systems. As technology continues to advance, it will be interesting to see how AI-driven systems are adopted and regulated in the field of defense and security.
