The 500 vehicles were designed, developed, and built by Jankel in the United Kingdom in collaboration with their French partners, Technamm, who constructed the French version of the Jankel Fox Long Range Patrol Vehicle (LRPV) called 'Jankel Fox by Masstech'. This vehicle was purchased by the French Ministry of Defense as part of the urgent requirement VPS2 in 2018. The vehicles are manufactured under license in France by Technamm at their Lambesc facility.

In 2015, Jankel won an international contract to supply 108 Jankel Fox 4x4 Rapid Reaction Vehicles (RRV) to the Belgian Ministry of Defense (BeMoD) for use by their special forces. The last of the Jankel Fox RRV vehicles for BeMoD rolled off the production line in 2020.

Since then, Jankel has received a significant number of orders for Jankel Fox vehicles from undisclosed global customers in various configurations, bringing the current total to over 500 vehicles. The Jankel Fox vehicle is now in service in the United Kingdom, the United States, New Zealand, Romania, France, Belgium, Botswana, Oman, Jordan, South Korea, Brunei, Spain, Italy, Mauritania, and Indonesia.

The Jankel Fox family consists of three main variants: the Tactical Utility Vehicle (TUV), the Rapid Reaction Vehicle (RRV), and the Long Range Patrol Vehicle (LRPV), available in 4x4 and 6x6 configurations. Jankel continues to develop the platform in the United Kingdom by integrating future mission systems across the Jankel Fox family. Jankel has designed and integrated plug-and-play automotive system enhancements, including suspension, drivetrain, brakes, transmission, and power generation.

The military integration then includes weapons, communications, ECM, modular armor, seating, tools, and storage. The vehicle complies with several international defense standards, including reliability, integration, service support, operational environments, towing, docking, air transport, and helicopter transport.

The Jankel Fox accommodates a crew of 2 to 6 people and is used in a variety of roles, including command, reconnaissance, tactical patrol, fire support, logistics, border surveillance, and anti-poaching operations. Jankel has also established a comprehensive global support solution that provides all aspects of in-service support to customers using their Jankel Fox vehicles.

The delivery of 500 Fox tactical vehicles is a significant milestone for Jankel, and through this press release, they celebrate this achievement. It will be interesting to see the future development of the Fox vehicles and perhaps an increase in their sales worldwide.
