ASELSAN, known for its comprehensive expertise in electronic warfare spanning over three decades, has developed a portfolio of UAV solutions designed to tackle complex aerial missions such as reconnaissance, surveillance, intelligence, self-protection, escort jamming, Stand-off Jamming (SOJ), and Stand-In Jamming (SIJ).

The company's offering includes electronic warfare solutions for Communication Intelligence (COMINT), Electronic Intelligence (ELINT), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), and Electronic Countermeasures (ECM). These systems form vital components for achieving electromagnetic spectrum (EMS) superiority in the operational environment. ASELSAN's UAVs offer a suite of benefits compared to traditional manned airborne systems, including greater mission endurance in contested environments, more efficient utilization of experienced personnel, and reduced risk of significant human and financial losses.

A notable highlight of ASELSAN's presentation at IDEF 2023 was their miniaturized electronic warfare POD systems. These innovative devices have the capacity to transform commonly used tactical class UAVs into formidable electronic warfare weapons. The new systems provide protection against air defense systems that have historically posed a vulnerability, ensuring the completion of invaluable missions.

ASELSAN also emphasized the flexibility of their POD solutions, which can be easily integrated to expand the scope of tasks a UAV can perform.

The company further announced its plans to provide turnkey special mission UAV solutions capable of performing SIGINT, ISR, and SOJ operations, along with electronic warfare payloads for UAVs, to the global market.

These announcements at IDEF 2023 underscore ASELSAN's commitment to shaping the future of electronic warfare, fortifying its reputation as a trailblazer in the defense industry.
