The UAE has hosted more than 20,000 attendees from 90 countries and 500 exhibiting companies at 7th International Exhibition for National Security and Resilience (ISNR), billed to be the world’s largest homeland security event, which took place in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 15 to 17 March 2016.

More than 500 national and international companies from 45 countries across 20,000 sq m exhibited of net indoor and outdoor exhibition space at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre, said the organisers.

ISNR 2016 has hosted five exhibitions, more than 60 seminars, 10 live demonstrations, and new product and solution launches, they stated.

On the show, Major General Dr Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, said: “ISNR Abu Dhabi 2016 is one of the main safety and security events both internationally and in the Middle East and North Africa, providing decision-makers from the public and private sectors with the latest concepts and security technologies in the protection of critical national infrastructure, and emergency preparedness and national resilience."

New vertical market launch Emergency Response and Disaster Prevention 2016 (EmDi) is the Gulf's first international exhibition dedicated to best practice, innovation and effective solutions in emergency response and disaster prevention across land, sea and air. EmDi will help companies to ensure stability, business continuity and smooth recovery from disaster in a region where emergency response and fire prevention have reached a new level of priority.

Key to supporting customer objectives is ISNR Business Connect, the business matching programme, which ensures that exhibitors and buyers are strategically matched well in advance of the event, with buyers going through a strict selection process by the dedicated ISNR Business Connect team. The programme is underpinned by important investment and expertise.

Other new developments that have helped to make ISNR 2016 even bigger and better than previous editions and that allow visitors to buy. learn and source, include the Emergency Response & Disaster Prevention Vehicle and Equipment Display Area, which is taking place in the outdoor central plaza.
